What is XCARES?

XCARES, is part of a 501c3 nonprofit organization, sponsored by WLLX, WWLX, WDXE, and WKSR radio stations. XCARES simply stands for compassion, aid, response, emergency, and support and is dedicated to the service of all people of Lawrence and surrounding counties in times of need. For over 25 years XCARES has been committed to helping whenever possible as charitable needs arise.

XCARES is a big supporter of the Santa for Senior Program which helps many elderly adults at Christmas with their needs.
