Good Friday is a State Holiday, with that, the following closings have been announced in observance of the Good Friday, Friday, April 18th. All Federal offices, All State offices, Giles County Government offices, and the Giles County Public Library will be closed. Four people, including a mother and grandmother, are being charged in an overdose death of a Maury County teen. Katelynn Dupont, 16, died from an overdose in December 2024. Last month the Maury County Sheriff’s Department made multiple arrests in the case.
