What is The Country Cafe?

Straight from Music Row, The Country Cafe is a place where you can come and get a close-up view of the music that plays on your radio and the artist that sings it. Whether you love the traditional sounds of yesterday’s country or today’s rockin’ country, there’s a little something for everyone.

Hosted by WLX, the live lunch or evening performance will not only be for an in person audience but will be broadcast on the radio and streamed on Facebook and YouTube as well.

How to Be a part of The Show

The Country Cafe can be sponsored and make a great way to get your name associated with a great cause in the community with a lot of marketing attatched. If you’re an aspiring musician, you know the power of the area in and around Nashville. You also know that without the support of great fan base, you’ll never make it in today’s music business.

The Country Cafe showcases new, upcoming, independent, and established artists and their music live on WLX, 97.5 & 98.3FM, and uses some of the funds raised through sponsorships for X-Cares, a charity that supports local charitable causes in the Tennessee Valley

With a keen eye on its mission, WLX conceived the Country Cafe as more than just a performance space. It’s a dynamic platform that not only amplifies artists’ voices to millions across the Tennessee Valley but also ignites positive change.

In the past, The Country Cafe has hosted independents such as Rachael Turner, Red Marlow, and Branch and Dean and Country icons such as Steve Wariner, Daryl Worley, John Schneider, Marty Raybon and Billy Dean.
