I grew up listening to WDXE. Especially in the mornings getting ready for school and later riding the strip as a teenager. Later in life I opened my own real estate business and became an advertiser on WDXE. I made many live appearances on the station and became great friends with Jack Cheetwood, Larry “Elrod” Moore, and Ronnie Allen. We had some great fun. One day Jack asked me to fill in for him and Elrod. They were both battling some serious illness. So I began to host The Wake-up Show. WDXE has a great legacy and I feel very blessed to have a part in it.know and talk to people in the community.
