Radio has been in my blood for most of my life. My dad built WLX from the ground up when I was just 5 years old and I saw first-hand how radio stations impacted people’s lives. Coming from an owner-operated radio station I have received years of experience behind the scenes of owning and running a radio station. I got married, moved away and raised 4 kids. Later in life I graduated from Belmont University with a Music Business Degree and came back to radio. I feel like a have come full circle and returned to my roots working in Radio. Today I work alongside my dad everyday which is something I truly appreciate and enjoy. Seeing everything he has worked so hard to build and see how well it works is truly something that is a joy. Along with the many jobs I do here at the station I also use my love for music as a tool for my role as the program director for WLLX, which is a lot of fun. I love exposing people to great new music as well as enjoying the great music of yesterday!
