I started my radio career back in 1967 as a bookkeeper and an on-air DJ at WDXE and later became news director. I worked there for 6 years before taking a 3-year hiatus from radio to work as a personal secretary. I returned in 1976 to WDXE and while working there I also traveled as a backup singer for Cissy Lynn, Loretto Lynn’s daughter. In 1990 I was asked by WLX to co-host the morning show with Eddie Landtroop and to this day, I get up every morning and now enjoy being a part of the morning show with Mark Rohling. I love being part of the community, I’ve served on the Lawrenceburg Industrial Development Board since 1980 and have been a member of the WLX Country Café Band which has been performing for years raising money to support community needs in times of disaster.
