A Collision in Lawrence County Claims a Life and Several Others are Severely Injured

On Sunday afternoon, a vehicle crash claimed a life and several others were injured in Lawrence County. Just before 4:00 PM, two vehicles collided on Highway 43 close to the Purcell Lane intersection in Leoma, resulting in a fatality. The death of one victim was declared at the scene. An Intoxicated Truck Driver Caused Six Collisions, One Resulting in a Fatality

According to FOX54, on Friday, May 9th, a truck driver who is suspected of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and causing at least six collisions, including one fatality, along a 27-mile section of I-65 is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, May 13th.
