Limestone K-9 Officers Receive Body Armor

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department has been gifted body armor for its four K-9 officers, to provide protection in more dangerous situations.  The body armor is designed to protect the K-9s from bullets and stab wounds.  The body armor was donated by the non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s.  The armor is made in the U.S. and custom fitted to each K-9 officer.  Each vest costs more than $1,000 and […]
