Tennessee Gas Prices Fall a Penny, Now Fourth Cheapest in U.S.

Tennessee gas prices fell a penny last week, holding steady at an average of $2.61 per gallon. Entire Cornersville Fire Department Resigns

Every member of the Town of Cornersville Fire Department, including Fire Chief Matt Fox, has resigned, according to WKRN News 2. Mount Residents Reminded Not to Burn Leaves

Huntsville PD Charges Texas Man with Crimes Against Children

A tip through the Internet Crimes Against Children tip line in Huntsville resulted in a recent arrest.  Authorities report that 23-year-old Ty’Quavian Quentez Daniel of Huntsville, contacted a 16-year-old from Humble, Texas on Instragram, where he solicited explicit images, then attempted to extort the victim, threatening to expose the photos unless more were sent.  Daniel was arrested on charges of sexual extortion and electronic solicitation of a child.  The case […]

Maury County Firefighters Rescue Crash Victim

Maury County Firefighters were called to the scene of a car crash that left a car teetering on the edge of a steep embankment on Theta Pike Monday.  They arrived to find the car was being held in place by a small tree.  Crews were able to use a winch to secure the car while the occupant was evacuated.  The victim was transported for medical attention for non-life-threatening injuries.
