LiHEAP Applications Wait-Listed Until Funds Available

Officials with South Central Human Resource Agency have informed the public that names of those applying for the 2026-27 Low-Income Home Energy Assistance program are currently being wait-listed. When this year’s application period opened on October 1, they learned that monies had not yet been made available to fund the assistance program. You may fill out the application, however names will be added to the waitlist until the funds are released. They will then be processed, which may result in longer processing times.
