Weakley Creek Road to Close for Bridge Repair

Weakley Creek Road will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, September 28, while crews complete bridge repairs.

According to the Lawrence County Highway Department, the closure will begin at 8:00 AM and affect Weakley Creek Road from Tingle Trapp Road to Martin Road.

Eastbound and westbound traffic will be detoured using Martin Road, Gimlet Road and McCarter Road.

The closure will remain in effect until the bridge repair is complete.
