Loretto Moves Forward With Playground Project

Members of the Loretto Board of Aldermen are moving forward with plans to replace playgrounds at the city park despite receiving less grant funding than had been anticipated. The board agreed to move forward with the project during their September 1 meeting, agreeing that they should be able to identify funding to cover the remainder of the project. The project includes demolition and reconstruction of a playground for children ages 2 to 5, and another for children ages 6 to 12.
