Seventh Arrest Made in Lauderdale County Child Exploitation Sting

According to media sources, a seventh person has been arrested in connection with a child exploitation sting conducted in Lauderdale County.
Logan Thornton was arrested and charged with human trafficking and traveling to meet a child for sex.
According to court documents, Thornton is accused of agreeing to meet a child for sex and agreeing to pay $60.
Thornton has since posted bond.
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office says the operation was conducted Friday and Saturday and targeted adults allegedly seeking unlawful sexual activity with children.
Six other men were previously arrested during the operation.
Five of those individuals were charged with human trafficking and traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act, while another was charged with solicitation of prostitution.
The latest arrest brings the total number of people charged in connection with the operation to seven.
All charges are accusations, and those arrested are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
