County Swearing-In Ceremony is Tuesday

Swearing-in ceremonies will be held Tuesday for current Lawrence County officials and those who won their races during the Aug. 6 general election. Oaths of office will be administered to all new and returning government officials, beginning at 1 p.m. in Courtroom A on the second floor of the Lawrence County Courthouse. The courthouse and administrative building will close at 11 a.m. for the event and remain closed the remainder of the day.
