Local Governments Announce Labor Day Closings

Governments in Lawrence County have announced closings in observance of the Labor Day holiday. The cities of Ethridge and St. Joseph will be closed on Labor Day, Monday, September 7, as will the cities of Lawrenceburg and Loretto. There will be no garbage pickup in Lawrenceburg and Loretto. Lawrenceburg officials indicate that Monday’s garbage will be picked up on Thursday, while in Loretto, Monday’s garbage will be picked up on Wednesday. Since this will be a double route day, residents are reminded to have their garbage at the curb early.
