Limestone Officials Warn of Scam

Officials with the Limestone County Sheriff’s Department have issued yet another scam alert, as residents are continuing to be targeted. Multiple residents have reported being contacted by phone from individuals claiming to represent the sheriff’s department. Each was told that a family member is in jail and requests money for their release. They are reminding everyone that you will never be contacted in this manner and that you should never send money or share personal information.
