Lizzie Dean Bradley “Nooter” Moore

Lizzie Dean Bradley “Nooter” Moore, age 85, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, August 27, 2026. She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, a homemaker, and a member of Flatwoods Church of Christ. Mrs. Moore enjoyed fishing, gardening, and collecting “what–nots.” 

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Douglas and Retha Howell Bradley; and siblings, W.J. Bradley, Mary Bradley Fisher, and Jessie Bradley. 

She is survived by her husband, James William “Buddy” Moore; four sons, Ricky L. Smith, Michael O. Smith (Deborah), Timothy S. Smith (Penny), and William Thomas “Tommy” Moore; daughter, Sherri D. Moore; siblings, Beulah Thompson, Earlene Luffman, and David G. Bradley; 10 grandchildren; 19 great–grandchildren; several nieces; and nephews. 

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Deborah Smith, Jeannie Plunk, and other family members for their help in caring for Mrs. Moore. 

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Monday, August 31, 2026, with Ricky Glass officiating. Interment will follow at Bumpas Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.
