Christopher Shawn Russell

Christopher Shawn Russell, age 50 of Leoma, TN, passed away August 7, 2026 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, TN, after a short illness.

Shawn was a member of Leoma Baptist Church. He was a big sports fan, especially the TN Vols. He loved by his family and friends. Shawn had many friends in the Peach Creek and Five Points communities, where he will be truly missed.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Womack and Beatrice (Kennedy) Rosson.

He is survived by his mother, Teresa (Rosson) Price; step dad, Steve Price; Step grandmother, Polly Smith; sister, Beth Russell; step sister, Kari Young (Walker); step brother, Kevin Price; 2 nieces, Anna Thomason and Emily Price; 3 Nephews, Austin Price, Lucas Clifford, and Logan Young; 2 great nieces, Zoei and Stella;

A memorial service will be held on at 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Matt Rosson will be officiating. Loretto Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family ask a donation be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
