THP Announces August 28-29 Sobriety Checkpoints

The Tennessee Highway Patrol will conduct four sobriety checkpoints on Friday, August 28, and Saturday, August 29.

On Friday, troopers will conduct a checkpoint in Marshall County on State Route 64, more than four miles east of the 1-mile marker.

In Lincoln County, a checkpoint is planned on State Route 50 at the 15.8-mile marker.

In Giles County, troopers will conduct a checkpoint on U.S. Highway 31 at the 9.5-mile marker.

On Saturday, troopers will conduct a sobriety checkpoint in Lewis County on Highway 412 West at the 0.9-mile marker.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol conducts sobriety checkpoints to identify impaired drivers and promote safe travel on Tennessee roadways.
