Swearing-in Ceremonies Sept. 1 for County Officials

Swearing-in ceremonies have been scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 1 for current county officials and those who won their races during the Aug. 6 general election. Oaths of office will be administered to all new and returning Lawrence County government officials, beginning at 1 p.m. in Courtroom A on the second floor of the Lawrence County Courthouse. The courthouse and administrative building will close at 11 a.m. for the event and remain closed the remainder of the day.
