Candidates Qualify for November Municipal Elections in Lawrence County

The qualifying deadline has officially closed for the November municipal elections in Lawrenceburg, St. Joseph and Ethridge.

In Lawrenceburg, current Mayor Blake Lay will not seek re-election, meaning voters will elect a new mayor in November. Roy Story and Darryl Watson have qualified for mayor.

Jeff Clifton and Chad Moore have qualified for Lawrenceburg Council Seat 1. Raquel Gobble Fisher, Landon Saunders and Robin N. Williams have qualified for Council Seat 2. Shane Hughes, Greg Kelso and Wes Orton have qualified for Council Seat 4.

In St. Joseph, Roger “Bubba” Carter and Marty Passarella have qualified for commissioner.

In Ethridge, George E. Doyle and Nathan Sheridan have qualified for city commissioner.
