Lawrence County Jury Finds Rocky Tease Guilty of Rape and Kidnapping

A Lawrence County jury has found Rocky Nathan Tease guilty of multiple charges involving rape and kidnapping.

According to 22nd Judicial District Attorney General Brent Cooper, Tease was convicted of three counts of Aggravated Rape, one count of Sexual Battery, and one count of Aggravated Kidnapping.

Assistant District Attorney Brittany Langford prosecuted the case, which was investigated by Investigator Ray Chavez. Victim Witness Coordinators Victoria Jacobs and Kim Sandlin Magee also assisted during the case.

Cooper praised the victim for her courage and strength in testifying before the jury and said his office is praying for her healing.

Following the verdict, Circuit Judge J. Russell Parkes revoked Tease’s bond and ordered him taken into custody pending sentencing.
