Teddy William Smith

Teddy William Smith, age 83, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, August 10, 2026, at his residence. He was a native of Collinwood, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, and a member of Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church. He enjoyed cattle farming and riding his motorcycle. Mr. Smith served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, William James and Lillie Kathlene Butler Smith; one brother, Norman Smith; and one sister, Vickey Flatt. 

He is survived by his wife, Linda Davalene Dixon Smith of Lawrenceburg, TN; three children, Kent Smith (Cheryl), Sonya Allred (Kevin), and Brandon Smith, all of Lawrenceburg, TN; three sisters, Linda Smith, Pamela Heard, and Judy Campbell, all of Lawrenceburg, TN; one brother, Tim Smith of Loretto, TN; five grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; and three step–great–grandchildren. 

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Condolences may be sent by way of our website at
