Elkmont Man Arrested in Limestone County Child Sexual Abuse Investigation

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 33-year-old Elkmont man following an investigation into the alleged sexual abuse of a child.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, investigators received a report on August 5 alleging that a child had been sexually abused. Investigators developed probable cause to charge Jordan Cline with Second-Degree Sexual Abuse involving a victim less than 16 but more than 12 years old.

Cline was located in Athens and taken into custody without incident.

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation remains active and ongoing, and additional charges may be filed as investigators continue gathering evidence.
