St. Joseph Plans Small Land Purchase for Walking Trails at Park

Saint Joseph Commissioners discussed moving forward with the purchase of a small parcel of land adjacent to the city park during their August 4 monthly meeting.  Funds for the purchase have been included in the city’s budget, and they are in the process of contacting the landowner to move forward with the purchase.  Adding the parcel to the current park lands will both preserve the watershed and allow for the future construction of walking trails.
