Leoma Fire & Rescue responded to 26 calls for service during July, making it the department’s busiest month of the year so far.
According to the department, the month’s responses included three structure fires, eight motor vehicle accidents, and eight medical assist calls.
The department also announced that two members recently began the Emergency Medical Responder course offered by Lawrence County EMS, while two others completed their EMT course at Northwest Shoals Community College. The department wished the members well as they prepare to take their National Registry examinations.
Leoma Fire & Rescue thanked the community for its continued support.
