Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office Releases July 2026 Statistics Report

The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office responded to 1,161 calls for service during the month of July, resulting in 147 arrests, according to the department’s monthly statistics report.

During the month, deputies also conducted 146 traffic stops, responded to 24 crashes, served 227 civil processes, and provided 21 funeral escorts. The department also completed 10 mental health transports.

Other reported activity included 68 animal calls, 34 domestic violence calls, 32 suspicious person or activity calls, 26 burglar alarm calls, 16 motorist assists, 13 thefts, 13 vandalism cases, 12 fraud investigations, and nine suicide attempts or threats.

The Sheriff’s Office reported no SWAT deployments and no Taser deployments during the month.
