The Lawrenceburg Planning Commission will consider a request to rezone approximately 13.31 acres on the north side of West Point Road and the east side of the U.S. Highway 64 Bypass during its meeting on Thursday, August 6, at 1:00 p.m.
The property is currently zoned R2 Low Density Residential. The applicant is requesting that it be rezoned to R4 High Density Residential to allow smaller single-family residential lots as part of a proposed subdivision known as Trinity Cove.
If recommended by the Planning Commission, the request will move to the Lawrenceburg City Council for a first reading on Thursday, August 13, at 9:00 a.m. A public hearing and second reading are scheduled for Thursday, August 27, at 9:00 a.m.
All three meetings will be held at the Lawrenceburg Municipal Complex, 25 Public Square, and are open to the public.
