Florence Police Officer Arrested

Florence Police Officer Carlos Rios was arrested Thursday on two counts of third-degree domestic violence.  Rios was arrested by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department in connection with an altercation that occurred in that area.   The Florence Police Department reports that Rios has been placed on administrative leave until such time that the matter is resolved.
