Summertown Elementary to Host Blood Drive July 30

Summertown Elementary School will host a Blood Assurance blood drive on Thursday, July 30, from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the school, located at 319 Corbin Street in Summertown. The blood drive is part of Blood Assurance’s Future Lifesavers program, which helps schools earn grant funding while providing lifesaving blood donations to the community. All donors who give blood during the month of July will receive a $25 eGift card, which will be emailed within 10 days of donation. Donors are encouraged to eat a good meal, drink extra water, avoid energy drinks, and bring a photo ID.
