Driver Extricated After Crash on Nancy Green Ridge Road in Giles County

A driver was rescued after becoming trapped in a single-vehicle crash late Thursday night on Nancy Green Ridge Road in Giles County.

According to Giles County Fire & Rescue, crews responded to the 1700 block of Nancy Green Ridge Road, where they found a vehicle that had struck a tree on the driver’s side, leaving the driver heavily entrapped.

Firefighters and rescue personnel spent nearly an hour extricating the driver from the wreckage. The patient was then transported by Giles County EMS for medical treatment.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
