Early Voting for August Election Begins Friday (7/17)

Early voting for the Aug. 6 Primary and General Election begins Friday, July 17, in Lawrence County.

Voters will cast ballots for a number of federal, state, and local offices, including candidates for Governor, U.S. Senate, Tennessee Senate (odd-numbered districts), Tennessee House, Republican and Democratic State Executive Committees, Lawrence County Executive, Circuit Court Clerk, Sheriff, County Clerk, County Trustee, Register of Deeds, Road Superintendent, Northern, Middle and Southern District Constables, School Board Seat 2, County Commission Seats 1, 3, 5, 6 and 9, and Circuit Court Judge.

The two-week early voting period continues through Saturday, Aug. 1.

Early voting will be conducted during regular business hours at the Lawrence County Election Commission, located at 702 Mahr Avenue in Lawrenceburg.

The deadline to request an absentee ballot is Monday, July 27.
