Benefit Planned for William “Peanut” Perry July 18

A benefit for William “Peanut” Perry will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, beginning at 12:00 Noon at Parker’s Place Bar & Grill, 4022 Highway 43 in St. Joseph.

Perry is currently on dialysis and is on the transplant list.

Entertainment will feature Smokin’ on the Boulevard, Bama Border with Wendell Dean, Kendell Dean & Friends, and special guest Howell Sledge.

Food available for purchase will include Duane’s Chicken Stew, smoked butts, barbecue sandwiches, and barbecue plates. Advance orders may be placed by calling 931-845-4990.

Other activities include a shuffleboard tournament, a chicken drop, and a Chinese auction.
