Operation Nets Two Additional Human Trafficking Convictions

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reports that a recent human trafficking investigation has led to two additional convictions.  Anthony Greene, II, age 43, entered a guilty plea to first degree human trafficking and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.  Eduardo Santiago Mateo Tomas, 19, of Athens, pleaded guilty to first degree human trafficking and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.  Both will be required to register as a sex offender for life.  To-date, the Millstone Project has resulted in 50 arrests of individuals charged with exploitation or attempted exploitation of children.
