The Lawrenceburg City Council approved all ordinances and resolutions on its agenda during Thursday morning’s meeting.
Following a public hearing, council members approved Ordinance 1457 on second and final reading. The ordinance repeals a previous ordinance and amends portions of the city’s zoning ordinance and municipal code related to historic zoning regulations, including changes affecting the historic zoning ordinance, guidelines, and the Historic Zoning Commission.
The council also approved a resolution accepting the resignation of Council Member Darryl Watson and officially declaring a vacancy in Seat 4 on the Lawrenceburg City Council.
In addition, council members approved a resolution authorizing the city to enter into a master services agreement with Municipal Inspection Partners to provide on-call community development services for the City’s Planning and Development Department.
