Savannah PD Warns Public of Counterfeit Bills

The Savannah Police Department reports that counterfeit $1 bills have been circulated in the community.  They ask that everyone take a moment to examine bills to verify their authenticity.  If you believe any of the bills you receive might be counterfeit, do not attempt to spend them.  Contact your local law enforcement agency to report the matter.
