Huntsville Madison 911 Adopts Feature to Protect Victims

The Huntsville Madison County 911 Center has adopted a new feature that allows residents to use their phones to send photos, video or their location directly to dispatchers during emergency situations by way of a secure link.  These real-time updates can provide valuable details to first responders before they arrive on the scene.  If a dispatcher offers this option, the caller is reminded only to share information when it is safe to do so without putting yourself in danger.  Call or text 9-1-1 for emergencies.
