Don’t Leave Kids, Pets in Hot Vehicles

As several deaths of young children have been reported across the country since summer’s hot weather began, the Mount Pleasant Police Department is reminding motorists never to leave children or pets unattended inside a vehicle.  July is the deadliest month involving the deaths of children in hot cars.  Heat related emergencies resulting in tragic consequences can happen very quickly.  They urge you not to leave children or pets inside vehicles even for very short periods of time.
