Tennessee Highway Patrol Announces Holiday Weekend Sobriety Checkpoints

The Tennessee Highway Patrol has announced several sobriety checkpoints across southern Middle Tennessee during the Independence Day holiday weekend.

A sobriety checkpoint is scheduled Friday, July 3, in Lincoln County on U.S. Highway 64 at the 15.7-mile marker near Wilson Parkway. Another checkpoint is planned the same day in Perry County on Highway 13 North at the 29-mile marker.

On Saturday, July 4, troopers will conduct a sobriety checkpoint in Lewis County on U.S. Highway 412 West at the 0.9-mile marker.

The final checkpoint is scheduled for Sunday, July 5, in Wayne County on Highway 64 at the Hardin County line.
