Ground was officially broken Monday on a new Giles County E-911 Call Center.

According to WKSR Radio, local officials and community members gathered at the future site at 131 Cedar Lane in Pulaski to celebrate the start of construction on the new facility.

Officials said the project represents a significant investment in public safety infrastructure that will benefit residents throughout Pulaski and Giles County.

Construction of the new E-911 Call Center is expected to be completed in 2027.
