William Carroll ‘Dub” Looney, 87, of Lexington, AL, passed away at his home on June 28. 2026. Dub was a retired self-employed electrician and was a member of Rogersville First Church of the Nazarene. He was a United States Army Veteran. Dub loved Tennessee football and was a good Christian man who would do anything for anybody in need. He loved his family immensely and would always let them know that he loved them.

Daughter: Tonia Looney Eaves (Benny)
Sisters: Peggy Coleman & Rose Looney Gieski

Parents: Jessie Thomas Looney & Willey Jane Hensley Looney
Sister: Joy Gamble
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 P.M. with James Elbert Smith officiating. Burial will be in Richardson Chapel Cemetery with full military honors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
