Lawrence County Commission to Meet in Special Session

The Lawrence County Commission will meet in special session Tuesday.   Items on the agenda include passing a continuing budget until the 2026/27 budget is adopted; approval of a one-time contribution to Lawrence County Fire & Rescue in the amount of $1,077,053; approving State of Tennessee option to purchase Southern Tennessee Higher Education Center Property; along with appointments and budget amendments.  The meeting will get underway at 5 p.m. at the Lawrence County Courthouse.
