Former Perry Schools Employees Sentenced in Sexual Battery Cases

Two former Board of Education employees were sentenced Thursday in Perry County in connection with inappropriate sexual contact with students.  Rachel Carroll entered a guilty plea to one count of aggravated statutory rape in exchange for three years on probation and being listed on the TBI Sex Offender Registry for a period of ten years.  Ashley Marie Warren entered a guilty plea to the crime of sexual battery and was sentenced to three years’ probation and being listed on the registry for a ten-year period.  Both were also issued a no-contact order and instructed to have no contact with their victims.
