The City of Saint Joseph has announced that Police Chief Adam Brewer has completed an Executive Leadership Program hosted by the Tennessee Association of Chiefs of Police in partnership with the University of Tennessee Law Enforcement Innovation Center’s Institute for Public Safety.
According to the city, Brewer was one of only 16 law enforcement executives from across Tennessee selected to participate in the program.
The executive-level training focused on leadership, organizational management, community engagement, and public safety while bringing together police leaders from across the state to discuss challenges facing modern law enforcement agencies.
Chief Brewer said the program provided valuable insight into leadership practices and current issues affecting law enforcement, adding that he looks forward to applying what he learned to better serve the citizens of Saint Joseph.
City Manager Chris D. Jackson praised Brewer’s commitment to continuing education, saying his dedication to advanced training makes him one of the most experienced and highly trained police chiefs in the area.
The City of Saint Joseph said the Police Department remains committed to professional development, strong leadership, and best practices that strengthen public trust and enhance public safety.
