Sealed bids will be received by the City of Lawrenceburg at their offices in 25 Public Square, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464, until 10:00 AM CST, July 21, 2026 and opened publicly at 25 Public Square, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464 at that hour. The reading of the bids will begin immediately following the bid opening.

Project description

This project consists of the extension of Springer Road from Mattoxtown Road to Little Shoal Creek in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The work includes the grading, drainage, and paving necessary for the construction of approximately 0.768 miles of new three-lane roadway with open ditch sections and 0.146 miles of side road work. Utility work is not included in this project.

Proposal contracts will be issued until the time set for opening bids

A Prime Contractor must prequalify with the Department of Transportation in accordance with Section 54-5-117 of the “Tennessee Code Annotated” and the Tennessee Department of Transportation Rule 1680-5-3 prequalification of contractors before biddable proposals will be furnished.

The City of Lawrenceburg hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation. No Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal has been set on this contract. However, the use of DBE or SBE firms are encouraged.

Pre-Bid Conference

A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM CST at the City of Lawrenceburg, 25 Public Square, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference.
