Joy Rea Ritter

Joy Rea Ritter, 90, of Florence died Saturday, June 20, 2026, at NAMC.

Visitation will be Monday, June 22, 2026, 12-2 PM at Nebo Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM with Bro. Terry Herston officiating. Burial will be at the Nebo Cemetery. Elkins East Chapel is honored to assist the family.

Mrs. Ritter worked for AT&T in Nashville for 38 years and retired in 1994. She moved back to Florence in 2000.

Mrs. Ritter was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Flora Ritter; brother, Wayne Ritter.

She is survived by her nephew, Denny Ritter (Donna); great nieces, Shayla Smith (Gile) and Taylor King (Paden); great great nieces and nephews, Sloan and Nash Smith, Parker and Brooks King; sister-in-law, Treva Ritter McInnish.
