Perry County Woman Arrested for Sexually Assaulting Student

Officials announce that yet another woman connected to Perry County Schools has been arrested for sexually assaulting a student.  Authorities indicate that Amy Treadwell was indicted on charges of aggravated statutory rape and subsequently surrendered herself.  The charges involve allegations that she had sexual contact with a high school student.  While Treadwell is not currently employed by the school system, she served as a substitute teacher around five years ago.  Authorities indicate that this marks the third arrest in the past year in Perry County involving sex charges and minor students.
