Local Government Offices to Close for Juneteenth

Several local government offices will be closed Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.

Lawrence County Government offices, including the Solid Waste Transfer Station, will be closed for the holiday.

City of Lawrenceburg offices will also be closed. The city reminds residents that residential garbage cart pickup will take place on Thursday, June 18, ahead of the holiday. Because it will be a double-route day, residents are asked to place their carts out early Thursday morning for collection.

In Giles County, all county offices will be closed on June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.

The City of Pulaski also announced that all offices located in the Pulaski Municipal Building will be closed Friday, June 19, in observance of the holiday. Regular business hours will resume Monday, June 22.
