Giles County Fire & Rescue Squad Selected for 2027 WKSR Community Radio Auction

The WKSR Auction Committee has selected the Giles County Fire & Rescue Squad as the recipient of the 2027 WKSR Community Radio Auction following what organizers described as extensive discussion and consideration.

According to WKSR, several organizations submitted applications to be considered, and organizers said all were deserving.

The Giles County Fire & Rescue Squad will now begin preparing for the annual fundraiser, which is scheduled for Sunday, February 21, and Sunday, February 28, 2027.

In the coming weeks and months, members of the organization will begin seeking donations for the two-day event.

WKSR thanked everyone who applied for the 2027 Community Radio Auction and encouraged organizations to continue submitting applications for future Community Radio Auctions.
