THP Announces June 19 Checkpoints

The Tennessee Highway Patrol has announced several checkpoints across Middle Tennessee on Friday, June 19, including one in Lawrence County.

The Lawrence County sobriety checkpoint is scheduled for State Route 98 at the 5.5-mile marker.

Additional sobriety checkpoints are planned in Bedford County on State Route 64 East, one-half mile east of the 18-mile marker; Giles County on State Route 11 at the 13.1-mile marker; Maury County on State Route 50 East, two-tenths of a mile east of the 19-mile marker; Perry County on Highway 412 West at the Tennessee River Bridge; and Wayne County on State Route 13 North at the U.S. 64 underpass.

A driver’s license checkpoint is also scheduled in Maury County on State Route 7 North, one-tenth of a mile south of the 27-mile marker.
