Lawrence County Executive Debate Scheduled for June 16

A debate featuring candidates for Lawrence County Executive will be held Tuesday, June 16, at the WLX Country Cafe.

Incumbent County Executive David Morgan and challenger Shane Eaton have both confirmed their participation in the debate.

The event will begin at 7:30 PM and will be broadcast live on Facebook, WDXE Radio on 95.3 FM and 105.3 FM, and The X on 106.1 FM and 93.1 FM.

WLX is inviting members of the public to submit questions for consideration. Suggested questions should be able to be asked of both candidates equally.

The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Debate is scheduled earlier that evening at 6:00 PM at the WLX Country Cafe.
