Lawrence County Committees Schedule Meetings

Several Lawrence County Commission committees are scheduled to meet next week at the Administrative Center.

The Workplace Safety Committee will meet Monday, June 15, at 5:00 PM to review and update policies as needed.

The Purchasing Committee will meet Tuesday, June 16, at 5:00 PM to review annual bids. The Facilities Committee will convene immediately following the Purchasing Committee meeting.

The Budget Committee will reconvene its June 1 meeting from recess on Thursday, June 18, at 5:00 PM to continue consideration of the proposed 2026-27 Lawrence County budget.

All meetings will be held in the second-floor conference room of the Administrative Center. A public comment period is scheduled at the beginning of each newly convened meeting, and the public is welcome to attend.
